1) Once climbing to the Mystic Lake overlook, you can continue to follow
alongside the lake for 3 miles, eventually passing Mystic and coming to the
more remote Island Lake.

2) After crossing Island lake, there is a beach and remote area where the team camps for two nights. This is a great introductory backpacking trip
of three days and two nights in the backcountry.

3) Total hike is over 2,080 feet of elevation gain and 11.1 miles roundtrip, considering it a difficult yet rewarding challenge.
