Jared
Founder
Jared leads the overall vision and Scout Trips for PWI. He has been on adventures all over the world, mountain biking, climbing, and backpacking. He is passionate about people experiencing transformation in the backcountry, knowing how much those times were used in his own life.

Gazeman
U.S.A. Lead
Gazeman leads, coordinates and executes stateside trips for PWI, along with assisting with photography and videography for the media team. He loves scaling any cliff, wall, or mountain like a mountain goat and this comes in handy on every PWI trip.

Amber
Global Lead
Amber plans, coordinates and helps execute PWI global trips, along with PWI development. She grew up a skier and had to be convinced that the climb is as fun as the adrenaline rush, but it wasn't too hard since PWI adventures to some of the most breathtaking locations in the world!

Gaby
PWI Manager
Gaby is the lead designer for PWI publications, the website, and logos. She spent the first half of her life outside the U.S. and loves the nations. Her design skills along with her love for discipling younger girls, allows her to play a big role behind the scenes and on PWI trips around the world.

Rebecca
Logistics / Medical Lead
Rebecca guides in policy development for PWI, assists with trip logistics, and coordinates all PWI medical needs with AWEP certified leaders. She grew up climbing every mountain around Kalispell and Glacier. Her gymnastics background and love of fishing make her always ready to find the next mountain lake or push a little farther to the peak.

Erik
Spanish Lead
Erik leads, coordinates and executes trip logistics for PWI Spanish Trips. He is from Mexico, loves the outdoors, adventure, and giving many their first experience in the backcountry, as PWI is part of a larger organization that interacts with those from 12+ nations on a regular basis.

Matt
Alaska Region Leader
Matt is part of the PWI development team and is one of the Alaska region leaders, helping scout locations and trip plans. He moved to Montana from the south a few years ago where he was intricately involved with a backpacking organization there, but still has not lost his southern accent as of to date.

Nick
Wyoming / Utah Region Leader
Nick enjoys sharing his love for the outdoors and climbing on PWI trips. From the trek to Machu Picchu in Peru to leading trip participants to Southern Utah and rappelling into Coyote Gulch, Nick has a passion for using outdoor activities to get others out of their comfort zones and to see their lives transformed.

Elijah
Montana / Alaska Leader
Elijah helps lead trips in the Alaska and Montana regions for Petra Wilderness and is a great encourager on PWI trips to the team. His background in roofing, love for heights, and passion for teaching others has transferred over well to PWI adventures in the northwestern U.S. region.

Isaiah
Creative Director
Isaiah spent his youth living overseas in Central America and has grown to love using photography and videography to capture adventures in all parts of the world and to share the story with others. His degree in this field allows impact stories to reach far beyond the trips.

Jack
Technology / Videography
Jack is the social media vision and external communication lead for Petra Wilderness. He enjoys using his passion for videography and tech to capture the stories and experiences on PWI trips.

Jeremiah
PWI Junior Leader
Jeremiah already has more experience backpacking and scouting locations then most will in a lifetime. He is a servant and encouragement on each trip he goes on, setting an example for many of the younger upcoming PWI students.

Claudia
Administration / Logistics
Claudia assists with stateside trip logistics and medical needs for PWI. She grew up on the soccer field and that same competitiveness and drive has transitioned well to backcountry trips as she is always up to reach the next mountain peak.

Tanya
Female Trip Leader
Tanya has lived in Africa & Central America, and has a passion to see young women's lives changed. She loves getting to know and interacting with the gals on each backcountry adventure, encouraging and pouring into their lives.

Zermatt
PWI Dog
Zermatt, a bernese mountain dog, joined the PWI family in November 2024. Zermatt loves people, snow, mountain trails, and even visiting the PWI office on special occasions.
