Note: Team members are required to have their own pair of broken in ankle high hiking boots, as well as personal snacks. 

Location Details: Mystic Lake is the deepest lake in the Beartooths, at more than 300 feet.  Also, it is the largest lake in the Beartooths, at over 2 miles long. Once climbing to the Mystic Lake overlook, the team will continue to follow alongside the lake for 3 miles, eventually passing Mystic and coming to the more remote Island Lake. After crossing Island lake, there is a beach and remote area where the team camps for two nights. This is a great introductory backpacking trip of three days and two nights in the backcountry. Total hike is over 2,080 feet of elevation gain and 11.1 miles roundtrip. 

The team will depart at 9:00am on July 8th and return by 5:00pm on July 11th.
